Alpine Shine Cleaning Co. LLC – Service Agreement

 
This Agreement outlines the terms for services provided by Alpine Shine Cleaning Co. LLC ("Company") to the Client ("you"). By engaging our services, you agree to the following:

1. Supplies and Equipment: We supply all necessary cleaning equipment and products. If you have specific product preferences, please inform our office prior to your scheduled cleaning. These products will be the responsibility of the client. 

2. Service Satisfaction: We aim to exceed your expectations and inspect our work before leaving your home. If you identify any issues post-inspection, please contact us within 24 hours so we can address them promptly. While refunds are not offered, we are committed to correcting any mistakes. Requests made after 24 hours will be addressed during your next scheduled cleaning.

3. Schedule Changes and Cancellations: 
Schedule Changes: We request a minimum of two days' notice for any schedule changes to your service.
Cancellations: We request a minimum of two days' notice for any cancellations to your scheduled service. Cancellations with less than two days' notice will incur a 50% fee of the scheduled service charge. Canceling within two hours will result in full-service charges.  
Skipping Services: If the service is skipped, a higher rate will apply to the subsequent visit due to additional work required. Fees increase if visits are skipped: 10% for one week late, up to 40% for four weeks. Delays over four weeks will revert to deep-clean rates.
Holidays: Scheduled cleanings on holidays will be rescheduled.
Illness: Notify us promptly to reschedule if anyone in the home is sick. Rescheduling will not result in a cancellation fee, only a potential skipped services fee. If your cleaning team is out due to illness, we will reschedule with you immediately.
Permanent Cancellations: Please notify us at least two weeks in advance for permanent cancellations.

4. Arrival Window: Services are performed within a one-hour arrival window of the scheduled cleaning. Please understand that we do everything we can to be on time.

5. Access and Security: If you are not home during our visit, please disable your security alarm or provide us with the access code/key. If we are unable to access the home or are turned away, a fee equal to the scheduled cleaning cost will be assessed.

6. Safety and Regulations: In compliance with Federal OSHA regulations, our technicians use only company-provided ladders and are required to wear shoes inside your home. We appreciate your understanding in this matter.

7. Referrals: Refer a new customer to Alpine Shine and receive a $25 discount on your next cleaning service, effective after the referred customer’s first service.

8. Estimates and Service Adjustments: During our initial walk-through, we will discuss your priorities and propose a tailored cleaning plan. If you would like to add an additional service, please notify us at least 2 days in advance to adjust scheduling and billing. We are unable to accommodate last-minute changes.

9. Payment Terms: Full payment is required upon completion of each service. Cash, checks, Zelle, Venmo, and PayPal are accepted. If payment is not received within 24 hours, a fee of $25 per day will be assessed. Outstanding balances must be settled before the next scheduled cleaning. Unpaid balances may result in a suspension of service. Returned checks will incur a $37 reprocessing fee.

10. Cleaning Policy: Our standard cleaners for ovens, mildew, lime, and toilets are effective but not eco-friendly. Please notify us if you prefer green products, which may need multiple applications for heavily soiled areas. Lime, calcium, and soap scum buildup in showers and tubs are effectively addressed, but severe buildup may persist. Mold and mildew can penetrate grout and caulk deeply; our solutions reduce surface stains, but complete removal may require re-grouting or re-caulking.

11. Carpet Cleaning: Some stains may be permanent, and we are not responsible for pre-existing conditions. Allow 6–12 hours for drying; fans can be rented for $50/day. Carpets/upholstery must be vacuumed before carpet/upholstery shampooing, or a $50 fee applies.

12. Preparation: To ensure efficient cleaning, please remove all items such as clothing and toys. Ensure that your sink is free of dishes. If you prefer our technicians to handle these items, additional charges will apply. 

13. Handling Valuables: Secure any irreplaceable or valuable items to prevent accidents.

14. Damage Liability: We are not liable for pre-existing damage, wear and tear, or fragile/high-value items undisclosed before service. Claims must be reported within 24 hours. Any accidental damage will be reported immediately to the client for resolution.

15. Child and Pet Safety: For the safety of children and pets, please supervise them while our staff is present. Secure any dangerous pets both inside and outside your home. Alpine Shine is not responsible for cleaning up after pets.

16. Fee Adjustments: Due to annual cost increases, service rates may increase annually by up to 10%, with a four-week notice.

17. Feedback and Suggestions: We welcome and value your feedback to help us improve our services.
